Since 2010, health and fitness executive Robert Johnson has led Stealth Self Health in Vero Beach, Florida. Outside of his activities in the Vero Beach community, Robert Johnson supports the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation in its efforts to help military children attain their academic goals.
Each year, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (MCSF) awards hundreds of scholarships to students across the United States. In order to continue this work, the organization runs a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year.
Currently, the MCSF is busy preparing for several upcoming events, including the 2016 New York Leatherneck Celebratory Ball, which will be held April 21 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Now in its 54th year, the Leatherneck Celebratory Ball has been the premier fundraising event for the MCSF since the organization was founded in 1962.
In addition to cocktails and dinner, the annual gala features a patriotic program and an awards ceremony honoring individuals who have made outstanding contributions in support of military families. The guest list for the Leatherneck Celebratory Ball frequently includes celebrities, political leaders, and prominent military figures, including generals and Medal of Honor recipients.
The list of individuals to be honored at this year’s ball will soon be released on the MCSF website. For more information about the event, visit www.mcsf.org.
